Public Administration Dialogues is the spin-off of The European House - Ambrosetti's InnoTech Community that represents the meeting point between the innovation ecosystem, the business community and the Public Administration. The initiative has a twofold purpose: on the one hand, it intends to investigate the trajectories of transformation and innovation within the PA so that it can perform its functions more efficiently and effectively. In this aspect, digitization both in terms of infrastructure and advanced skills plays a key role, as well as the ability to have an ecosystem relationship with external stakeholders. On the other hand, it is intended to highlight how institutions have a key role in defining an industrial policy vision focused on research and development, which can foster the competitiveness of national companies. Also crucial in this aspect is the innovation of public procurement, which leads to positive spillovers for companies and spurs them to develop innovation and skills. We will discuss these issues with Paolo Zangrillo, Minister of Public Administration, with whom we will take stock of the digital transformation of the PA also thanks to the reforms and resources of the Italian Recovery Plan (PNRR), and with Edoardo Rixi, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, with whom we will delve into the topic of the new Procurement Code as a lever for promoting innovation.
