Digital and connected technologies will revolutionise and transform several economic sectors, including the construction sector. In the context of construction sites of major civil works, these technologies will be able to contribute both in the construction phase and in the phase of monitoring the progress of works. In this sense, digital and connected technologies will make it possible to substantially improve the safety of operators, increase environmental sustainability and increase productivity in the realisation of works.
To achieve these results, it is crucial to promote the development of new collaboration paths between the different stakeholders in the supply chain, from regulators to large companies and the most innovative international start-ups.
Considering the needs of the sector, the meeting, which will be held in the form of a round table discussion, intends to investigate technological opportunities and foster dialogue between the various stakeholders in order to define a new ecosystem development paradigm.
