Today, thanks to the exponential growth in the potential of digital technologies, we have, for the first time in history, the ability to create not just simple 'models', but true digital copies of reality: these are the Digital Twins, dynamic representations of physical objects, systems, processes or people based on the collection and processing of a huge amount of data in real time. The Digital Twin enables companies and managers to reduce costs, increase product and process efficiency and, consequently, improve business performance, while also being a key ally in the journey towards a zero environmental impact society. But what are the potential impacts of this technology on the competitiveness of our country? To answer these questions, The European House - Ambrosetti and Atos Italia are organising the Forum "Digital Twin for the Twin Transitions: “Building digital copies of the physical world for a more competitive, efficient, and inclusive society": a unique opportunity to discuss the impacts of Digital Twin technologies. Among confirmed speakers at the event: Alan Bates (Executive General Manager, Lendlease Italy), Patrizio Bianchi (Professor Emeritus, University of Ferrara; UNESCO Chair Education Growth and Equality; former Minister of Education), Massimo Bugani (Councillor for the Digital Agenda and Civic Use of Data, Metropolitan City of Bologna), Costantino Chessa (Head of Procurement, ENI), Derrick De Kerckhove (Professor of Anthropology, Politecnico di Milano), Valerio De Molli (Managing Partner & CEO, The European House - Ambrosetti), Giuseppe Di Franco (CEO, Atos Italia), Claudio Farina (EVP Strategies, Sustainability and Innovation, SNAM), Mauro Grimoldi (Head of Strategic Initiatives, Atos Italia), Nicoletta Mastropietro (Chief Digital & Innovation Officer, A2A), Anna Masutti (President, RFI), Giuliano Noci (Full Professor of Strategy and Marketing, Pro-rector for China, Politecnico School of Management), Andrea Quacivi (CEO, SOGEI), Francesco Rogo (Digital Engineering Officer, Leonardo), Lorenzo Rossi (CEO, Movyon - Gruppo Autostrade per l'Italia), Agostino Santoni (Vice President, Confindustria; Vice President, Cisco South Europe), Andrea Scognamiglio (Head of Innovability®, Global Digital Solutions, Enel), Francesco Ubertini (President, CINECA).
