In an increasingly complex geopolitical context, it is crucial to adopt targeted policies to safeguard their competitiveness and strategic autonomy. Protecting and enhancing European supply chains is not only indispensable to ensure that climate and energy goals are supported by industrial and technological development, but it is also a priority for the security of the EU and its energy infrastructures, to ensure that technological components meet stringent standards of reliability, safety, and cybersecurity.
